• Get free access to amazing concerts and workshops by working as ushers, handing out programs and audience surveys and more

Do you want to learn the backstage, front-of-house and/or business sides to the entertainment industry?  Join us for a great learning experience.  We need volunteers with a variety of skill sets:

Festival Ambassador

• distribute programs, flyers and surveys

• answer basic questions using a list of FAQs

• front of house work such as collecting/checking tickets or selling CDs

• theatre ushers, helping people find their seats

• event set-up

• greet artists and serve/clean up their refreshments in the Green Room

• assist artists to get to venues, media interviews, and other appearances on time

• become a runner to fetch people and supplies as needed

Fundraisers

• set-up and clear food and drinks for receptions

• set-up silent auction items and help people make bids

• welcome sponsors and major donors at events

• research and approach potential donors (foundations, corporations, government grants)

• telephone calls to thank major donors and remind them to donate again

• plan October sponsor appreciation event

• photographer for one or more of SING!'s events

• summarize event statistics for sponsors

Office

• collate packages

• help plan events

• answer questions via emails

• sell advertising in our Festival program
